Born on June 13, 1994, Kang graduated from the esteemed Korea National University of Arts. She made her debut in 2012 with the music video “Getting Farther Away” by Brave Guys, and from there, she steadily carved out a name for herself in the South Korean drama scene. Over the years, she graced our screens in a range of beloved dramas, including Schoolgirl Detectives, Assembly, The Flower in Prison, First Love Again, Through the Waves, Heart Surgeons, and Nobody Knows. In 2023, Kang took a significant step by signing with Insight MCN, reaffirming her passion for acting. Unfortunately, that same year brought the devastating news of her stomach cancer diagnosis.
